Just read on Jerry Lawler’s Twitter that Ox Baker has passed away aged 80.

R.I.P. You riot-starting, moustache-growing, Heart-Punching, Kurt Russell-fighting Legend.

  • Stephen Smith

I’m sure the first person to greet him in heaven will be Isaac Hayes, handing him a baseball bat with nails in it.

    R.I.P. Ox.

  • David Fullam

Met him back in march. I’ll never forget him.

    • MisterForth

I met him over the summer. Real nice guy. He will be missed.

I got an Ox Baker story. I was at a CZW show, in between a match he walked around the front row with a bunch of raffle tickets and a dirty cup. He started selling raffle tickets for two dollars a ticket, EVERYONE was buying them. Finally he finished walking around, no one saw him, the cup or the raffle tickets again.

It was the best. They don’t call them workers because they know how to put a wrist lock on.

    Kurt Russell better be there
