Hooray, more filler because there wasn’t enough botches this week in current wrestling. Hopefully next week they will get their shit together and more people fuck up.

Notes…
WWF had some issues to deal with in 1994, mostly that pesky Steroid Trial that Vince was able to beat against all the odds, which resulted in a lot of odd booking decisions and abrupt changes such as:
-Jeff Jarrett vs. Macho Man being a thing then suddenly not being a thing.
-When Mr. Backlund snapped originally, he stared at his hands as if possessed, with the original plan being Papa Shango had control over him. I’m glad they changed that one, Mr. Backlund’s bitter rants were amazing.
-Mabel claimed that Doink was originally supposed to face Jeff Jarrett at 1994 SummerSlam but it got switched the week before that he would be facing Jarrett. Why? Why not.
-The Quebecers feuding with Men On A Mission for the tag titles which ended with them trading the titles on a European House Show tour and then…The Headshrinkers winning them on Raw.
-”Apparently the IRS/Bigelow team was going to get the tag titles from the Headshrinkers at Summerslam before Vince called an audible and switched them to Shawn & Diesel a couple of days before the PPV. Never got the timing of that one. It would have helped the Corporation a hell of a lot more than Shawn & Diesel, who were only getting the belts so they could split up.” Source: some guy on a forum.
-The rumoured end to Undertaker vs. Undertaker was supposed to involve both men merging together, with the lights going off and only one Undertaker standing. The Owen vs. Bret cage match over-ran so they dropped it for time reasons.
Despite this, the build and blow-off of Wrestlemania X involved three of WWF’s best ever storylines/matches with Bret vs. Owen, Razor vs. HBK and Savage vs. Crush. A lighthouse in a fog of Undertaker vs. Undertaker.
