Introducing: The Attitude Era Podcast
Greetings Windjammers! We’re a new podcast covering the Attitude Era, one of the most influential and talked about eras in WWE history! Much in the style of OSW (who are a massive influence as well as jam up guys!) we review the main ppv’s of the era chronologically.
Our 3 hosts have varying levels of knowledge of the era with Kevin having grown up watching the Attitude Era since 98, Adam having watched since 99 and Billy, a latecomer to wrestling who is watching these shows and seeing these wrestlers and angles for the first time!
We are going to post up our past episodes over the next few weeks and then you can expect a new episode ever 2 weeks thereafter
Wrestlemania XIV (click above to listen), the night many argue as the beginning of the Attitude Era sees Steve Austin taking on HBK for the WWF championship with “Iron” Mike Tyson as the guest enforcer. The show also features Geniffer Flowers (who?) and The Rock talking about homelessness.
Unforgiven 1998 (click above to listen) sees the first ever Inferno Match and the first ever live duo of Jeff Jarrett and Sawyer Brown. It also features obscenely weird (and catchy) title music.
