Maffew appearing at MAGfest

MAGfest has been a hell of a lot of fun the last two times I’ve been, as were the panels I did last year (one for Botchamania and for (ugh) Wrestle Wrestle and Spoony). Which is why I am gritting my teeth with regards to not being included on the lineup on the website. Not that I am comparing myself to the likes of Nobuo Uematsu, Grant Kirkhope or even AVGN or BrentalFloss, but I definitely have a fanbase larger than others that ARE on the site. Anyway, you play with the hand you’re dealt with so it’s time I started hyping the buggery out of this.
I am assisting with someone else’s panel (Life as a PAL Gamer, which should be good for a laugh if you enjoy hearing British slang like ”bollocks”) but obviously the focus will be on the Botchamania panel. The current plan is to look back on the year that was 2011 and have a giant discussion like last year (I can’t promise we’ll be allowed to go five hours like last year though), with highlights and lowlights of the year in video form…and lots of Jeff Hardy.
If you can make it, hooray. If you can make it to MAGfest regardless of me then you really should go at least once. It’s the nerd festival with the lowest nonce percentage in the world. I’m going to attempt to see if there’s anywhere closer (i.e. England) that fancies having an apparently well-known online person make an appearance. Until then, all I’ve got is MAGfest so I really shouldn’t insult their lack of support or organisation (No, I don’t know what day/time the panels are yet).
